I really love and appreciate this place!! This small cinema is well maintained and managed with care! It had a bar,a nice restaurant, and a cafe all are reasonably priced. The screens have a good quality picture, nice seating levels, so small people can see over peoples heads. There are small sofa seats which are comfy but small so i wouldn't share with anyone you don't know well. The cinemas USP is independent small/ old films. Though sometimes I wish they would show more mainstream movies if only for a couple of screenings a week.If you haven't been check it out! Its a laid back grown up cinema!
A very cosy cinema. All seats recline but I don't suggest the back seats on the right hand side as you look at the screen in both screens 1&2 as they are fixed up right and very uncomfortable in comparison. Restaurant is really nice also. Cafe serves a great variety of cakes - all delicious!

The place was great. It has a waiting area with arcade games. It has a wide variety of movies and food. And the staff were great and nice.
An ok cinema, they do struggle to get people through on the tills however. If you've pre-booked tickets then straight through you go. If you haven't or if you want food/drink, get there early and be prepared to wait a long time. We've gotten there well on time before and only wanted food as we had tickets, waited best part of 30 minutes to get it, got into the cinema with about 30 seconds spare before the movie started missing trailers etc.

A beautiful theatre that hosts a multitude of shows and showcases new talent from Suffolk and beyond. A beautiful theatre architecturally. Very small but you feel very at one with the shows and nowhere is really a bad place to sit. Regularly is host to ballets from touring ballet companies including Russian ballet companies and Ballet Cymru, often showcasing a mix of traditional and contemporary ballet, and working brilliantly with the small stage which while it can be limiting to some exteny for dance routines, it allows focus on the performances which is great for theatrical shows. Definitely worth a visit and if you are a National Trust member you should be able to get a tour of theatre too. Parking is convenient in the Greene King car park, with a short walk and a bar before shows and during intervals. A lovely theatre with a real community feel. Definitely worth a visit on the website as there are always lots of shows on at often very reasonable prices.
Lovely intimate little theatre. We could see everything on stage from our quirky little box. Good size bar for drinks, sweets and ice cream. Disabled access and toilet as you would expect. Parking at the rear ( at the brewery? ) was difficult to find, but we were lucky to get space just up the road. Very enjoyable evening.

Visit the coffee shop here frequently because it is, hands down, the best indoor space in Bury St Edmunds to bring a toddler. Upstairs there are sofas, artworks and plenty of space for the little one to run around without disturbing anyone.
Stalls have surprisingly comfortable seating AFAIC. Good viewing angles from everywhere. Good Martin array sound system when we were there. Not sure if it's a house system but I'd guess that some guest sound techs don't seem to understand how it works. Sound has been both good and very poor for the various concerts we've attended.
